Pohang Steelers is South Korea's most successful club at the Asian level, with three AFC Champions League titles. It is one of the most traditional clubs in the K League.

History

Founded in 1973 as the team of the POSCO steel company in Pohang, the Steelers are South Korea's most successful club on the Asian scene. With three AFC Champions League titles (1997, 1998 and 2009), the club established South Korea in Asian continental football.
