Porto Sport Club
Porto Sport Club is the first professional football club in Porto Seguro, Bahia, founded in 2024 based on the former Porto Seguro Selection.
History
Porto Sport Club was born in 2024, when the board responsible for the Porto Seguro Selection, a team that competed in the Baian Intermunicipal Championship, decided to professionalize the city's football and affiliate the club with the Bahia Football Federation (FBF), adopting the Football Limited Company (SAF) model. Already in its founding year, the club achieved promotion to Serie A of the Baian Championship after winning Serie B, becoming the first professional team in Porto Seguro's history to reach the elite of state football. In 2025, Porto Sport Club made its debut in Serie A of the Baian Championship and also made its first participation in a national competition, the Copa do Brasil, drawing attention for the rapid rise of a newly created club in the Baian scene.
