History
Founded by members of the Portuguese colony in Londrina, Portuguesa Londrinense was born as a social and recreational club before dedicating itself to competitive football. Over the decades, it has competed mainly in the lower divisions of the Paranaense Championship, serving as a pipeline of players for larger clubs in the state. The club shares the city with the traditional Londrina Esporte Clube, maintaining a historic local rivalry. Despite never having consistently reached the elite of Paraná football, Portuguesa Londrinense preserves its identity and maintains active youth categories in the region.
