PSV Eindhoven is one of the most successful clubs in Holland, founded in 1913 by employees of the technology giant Philips. History
PSV reached European peak in 1988 by winning the European Cup, defeating Benfica in the final on penalties. The club accumulates 24 titles of the Dutch Championship, being one of the national record holders. In the 1990s, PSV had Ronaldo Nazário on its team before the Brazilian became the biggest star in world football. The club continues to be an attractive destination for young talents and a regular participant in the advanced stages of European competitions.
