Club Universidad Nacional A.C.

Pumas UNAM is the team of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, one of the most traditional and beloved clubs in Mexican football. Based at the Estadio Olímpico Universitário, the club is known for developing great talents and for its passionate university fan base. It is a reference for player development in the country.

History

Pumas won seven Mexican Championship titles and stood out on the continental stage by reaching the 2004 Copa Libertadores final, becoming one of the few Mexican clubs to achieve this stage. The club developed legends such as Hugo Sánchez and Carlos Hermosillo. In the 1970s and 1980s, it experienced its best period with consecutive titles. It remains one of the main forces in Mexican football.
