Uruguayan traditional club from Montevideo, founded in 1918, with participation in the first division of Uruguayan football throughout its history.
History
Racing Club de Montevideo was founded in 1918 and since then has alternated participation between the first and second divisions of Uruguayan football. The club has strong ties with the local community and has developed players who played for the Uruguayan national team in youth categories. Despite not having won any significant national titles, Racing Club de Montevideo remains one of the traditional clubs of the Uruguayan capital, competing in competitions organized by AUF.
