History
Rangers holds the Guinness World Record for the most national titles won by a football club, with 55 Scottish League titles. The club won the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1972, its only continental title. After facing serious financial difficulties in 2012, the club was rebuilt from the fourth tier of Scottish football. Legends such as John Greig, Ally McCoist and Brian Laudrup are revered by Ibrox supporters.
