Riachuelo Football Club

Traditional club from Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, one of the oldest in the state, with a strong history in Rio Grande do Norte football in the twentieth century.

History

Founded in 1917 in the Tirol neighborhood, Riachuelo Football Club was one of the protagonists of the first organized championships in Rio Grande do Norte, disputing finals and rivaling América-RN and ABC in the first decades of Rio Grande do Norte football. Over the years, the club alternated periods of greater state competitiveness with restructuring phases, maintaining itself as a historical reference and developer of players for larger teams in the state. Currently the club participates in lower divisions of Rio Grande do Norte football, preserving its centennial tradition and its loyal supporters in the Tirol neighborhood.
