Rio Branco Sport Club

One of the oldest clubs in Paraíba, a traditional participant in the Paraíban Championship.

History

Founded in 1913 in João Pessoa, Rio Branco Sport Club is one of the oldest clubs in the state of Paraíba, having accompanied the development of organized football in the region since the beginning of the 20th century. Throughout its history, the club won several state titles and was a protagonist in important local rivalries, contributing to the popularization of the sport in the capital of Paraíba. Today Rio Branco continues to compete in state competitions, keeping alive the tradition of one of the founding clubs of Paraíban football.
