History

Rio Branco Esporte Clube was founded in 1975 in the city of Venda Nova do Imigrante, in the interior of Espírito Santo, becoming a sports reference in the mountainous region of the state. Throughout its history, the club has competed in several editions of the Capixaba Championship, alternating between the elite and the access divisions of state football. With a strong local identity, the club has always prioritized the development of athletes from the region itself, maintaining close ties with the local community. In recent years, Rio Branco has sought administrative restructuring to return to the top divisions of Capixaba football.
