History
Founded in 1975 in the capital city of Macapá, River Atlético Clube became one of the most supported clubs in Amapá, competing in the Amapaense Championship for decades. The club has participated in editions of the Copa do Brasil and the Serie D of the Brazilian Championship representing the state. It plays its matches at Milton Corrêa Stadium, known as Zerão, the largest stadium in Amapá. Throughout its history, River-AC alternated seasons of state prominence with periods of restructuring, maintaining itself as a reference in Amapaense football.
