River Athletic Club

River Atlético Club, also known as River-PC, is a football club from Piracicaba, in the interior of São Paulo, founded in the 2010s and focused on competing in São Paulo state competitions.

History

Founded in 2014 in Piracicaba, River Atlético Club emerged with the aim of promoting professional football in the region, competing since then in competitions organized by the São Paulo Football Federation, such as the Campeonato Paulista Serie A2/A3 and Copa Paulista. The club shares the city with the traditional XV de Piracicaba, seeking to build its own identity and fan base over the years, with relevant participations in access competitions in the interior of São Paulo. Still in a phase of institutional consolidation, River-PC represents the movement of newer clubs that try to occupy a space in the competitive football of the interior of São Paulo.
