River Atlético Clube

River Atlético Clube, better known as River-PI, is a football club based in Teresina, Piauí, one of the main teams in the state alongside Flamengo Piauiense and Altos.

History

Founded in 1958 in Teresina, River-PI became one of the most supported clubs in Piauí, with several participations in the Piauí State Championship and in national competitions organized by the CBF. The club has competed in Serie D of the Brazilian Championship and the Copa do Brasil on several occasions, representing Piauí football at the national level. River-PI maintains a historic rivalry with other traditional clubs in the state, being a reference in football in Piauí.
