Club Santos Laguna

Club Santos Laguna is the main club in the Comarca Lagunera region, in northern Mexico. Founded in 1983, the club became one of the forces of Mexican football in recent decades and is famous for developing talents who reached the national team. It plays its matches at the Corona Stadium, in Torreón.

History

Santos Laguna has won six Liga MX titles since its founding, establishing itself as one of Mexico's most competitive clubs. Most of the titles were won between 2000 and 2010, when the club experienced its golden era. Santos also stood out in the CONCACAF Champions League, reaching the tournament finals. The club is recognized for its work in developing young Mexican players.
