History
Founded in 1912 in the port city of Santos, the club experienced its golden era in the 1960s with Pelé, Coutinho, Pepe and other stars. During this period, it won two intercontinental titles (1962 and 1963) and six consecutive Brazilian Championships. After decades of rebuilding, it returned to stardom in 2011 and 2012 with Neymar, again winning the Copa do Brasil and Libertadores. Santos is synonymous with the most beautiful Brazilian football.
