Football club from Paraná founded in 2015 in the city of São José dos Pinhais, in the metropolitan region of Curitiba. It competes in competitions organized by the Paraná Football Federation, having achieved access to the main divisions of state football.

History

Independente Futebol São Joseense, better known as São Joseense, was founded on May 22, 2015 in the city of São José dos Pinhais, in Paraná. The team emerged years after the closure of the traditional São José Esporte Clube, founded in 1933 and no longer in operation. The club began its competitive journey in 2016, competing in the Bronze Series (fourth division) of the Paraná Championship. In 2017 it won the title of the state's third division, a result that secured promotion to the Silver Series, a category in which it remained for four consecutive seasons. In 2021, São Joseense became champion of the Silver Series of the Paraná Championship, achieving access to the elite of state football. The team plays its home matches at Cilmar Pedro Goergen Municipal Stadium, also known as Estádio do Pinhão, and is nicknamed Tricolor do Pinhão.
