São Raimundo Esporte Clube

São Raimundo Esporte Clube is one of the most traditional clubs in Amapá football, based in Macapá. It has historically competed in the Campeonato Amapaense and has already represented the state in national competitions.

History

Founded in 1944, São Raimundo is one of Amapá's oldest clubs and built its history around state competition disputes, accumulating traditional rivalries with other Macapá teams. Over the decades, the club alternated moments of prominence in the local scene with reconstruction periods, maintaining itself as a reference in Amazon football. Currently the club continues to compete in Amapá divisions, with the objective of recovering the prominence it had in past decades.
