Seattle Sounders FC

Seattle Sounders FC is one of the most popular and successful clubs in Major League Soccer, founded in 2007 and joining the MLS in 2009. With one of the highest average attendances in the league, the club plays its matches at the legendary Lumen Field, also home to the Seattle Seahawks of the NFL. It is a reference for environment and passion in American soccer.

History

Seattle Sounders won two MLS Cup titles, in 2016 and 2019, establishing itself as one of the best clubs in the league. The team was also champion of the CONCACAF Champions League in 2022, becoming the first US club to win the tournament in the modern era. Clint Dempsey, one of the greatest American players of all time, was one of the club's greatest idols. The Sounders also holds the record for the highest average attendance in the MLS for several consecutive years.
