History
Founded in 1965, Sobradinho Esporte Clube is one of the most traditional clubs in Federal District football, representing the administrative region of Sobradinho. Throughout its history, the club became known by the nickname 'Le Coq' and for maintaining strong ties with the local community. The club had relevant participation in national competitions organized by the CBF, including editions of Serie C and Serie D of the Brazilian Championship, in addition to regular disputes in the Campeonato Brasiliense, where it ranks among the main clubs alongside Gama, Ceilândia and Brasiliense.
