History

Sport Boys Association was founded on July 12, 1927 in the port city of Callao, Peru. It is one of the oldest and most traditional clubs in the country, recognized for its loyal fan base and the historical rivalry with other teams in the Lima and Callao metropolitan region. The club won the Peruvian Championship on several occasions throughout the twentieth century, being one of the most successful teams in the history of Peruvian football before the hegemony of the major Lima clubs in the following decades. Currently, Sport Boys continues to compete in the main divisions of Peruvian football, keeping alive its centennial tradition in the port neighborhood of Callao.
