History

Founded in 1923 in Encarnación, Tacuary is one of the most traditional clubs in Paraguay. Throughout its century of existence, it participated in several editions of the Copa Libertadores and won state titles. The club represents the Itapúa region and maintains a strong presence in Paraguayan football.
