Club Atlético Talleres

Founded in 1913 by workers from the Córdoba railway workshops, Talleres is the most popular club in Argentina's second-largest city. A regular participant in the Copa Libertadores in recent years, it won the Copa CONMEBOL in 1999 and is a benchmark for football in Argentina's interior.

Born on October 12, 1913 from the workers of Ferrocarril Central Córdoba, Talleres carries in its DNA the working-class identity of the city. Its golden years were the 1970s, when it dominated the Liga Cordobesa. In 1999, it won the continental title by winning the Copa CONMEBOL. In the modern era, it has become a regular presence in the Copa Libertadores, with young talents exported to Europe.
