Women's team of Esporte Clube Taubaté, a traditional powerhouse of women's football in the interior of São Paulo state.

History

Women's football in Taubaté gained national prominence throughout the 2010s, becoming one of the reference teams outside the axis of the major clubs in state capitals. The team achieved promotion to the elite of Brazilian women's football by winning the Serie A2 of the Brazilian Women's Football Championship, the result of consistent grassroots work and athlete development. The club continues as one of the representatives of the interior of São Paulo in the country's main women's competitions.
