A club from Rio de Janeiro founded in 2011 in the small city of Comendador Levy Gasparian, that became a representative of Rio de Janeiro's interior in national lower-division competitions.
History
Founded in 2011, Tigres of Brazil emerged as a project to bring professional football to one of the smallest cities in Rio de Janeiro's interior to compete in CBF competitions. The club gained national recognition by participating in Brazilian football's lower-division series, drawing attention for the contrast between the small size of its home city and its presence in national competitions. Since then, Tigres has sought to consolidate its structure and compete in state and national tournaments organized by the Rio de Janeiro federation and the CBF.
