Tocantinópolis Esporte Clube
Tocantinópolis is one of the main clubs in Tocantins football, traditional in competing for the Tocantins Championship and with participation in national football.
History
Founded in Tocantinópolis, in the northern part of Tocantins state, the club is one of the most traditional in the region known as Bico do Papagaio. Throughout its history, it has competed in several editions of the Tocantins Championship, being one of the protagonists of state football. The club has represented Tocantins in national competitions organized by CBF, such as Brazilian Championship Series D and Copa do Brasil, seeking to give visibility to football in the interior of Tocantins. With a modest structure compared to the major centers, Tocantinópolis remains as a reference for the development of amateur and professional football in the northern state.
