Tocantins Esporte Clube

Tocantins Esporte Clube is a football club from the interior of the state of Tocantins, with regular participations in the divisions of the Tocantins Championship.

History

Tocantins Esporte Clube was founded in the municipality of Miracema do Tocantins, one of the oldest cities in the region that today forms the state of Tocantins, created in 1988 from the separation of northern Goiás. The club has historically competed in competitions organized by the Tocantins Football Federation, alternating participations between the first and second division of the state championship, serving as a reference for amateur and semi-professional football in the region.
