History
Toledo Esporte Clube was founded in 1938 in the city of Toledo, in western Paraná, becoming one of the oldest and most traditional clubs in the region. Throughout its history, the club competed in several editions of the Paraná State Championship in its different divisions, contributing to the development of football in the interior of the state. The club maintained regional rivalries with other clubs from western Paraná and served as a breeding ground for players to larger teams from Paraná over the decades. Its fan base is formed mainly by residents of Toledo and neighboring cities. In recent years, Toledo Esporte Clube remains active competing in youth competitions and lower divisions of Paraná football, keeping alive the local football tradition.
