Toronto FC is Canada's leading soccer club and one of the most popular teams in MLS. Founded in 2006 and joining the league in 2007, the club quickly became a powerhouse by signing world-class stars like Michael Bradley, Jozy Altidore, and Sebastián Giovinco. It plays its home games at BMO Field, in the heart of Toronto.

History

Toronto FC experienced its best years between 2015 and 2018, winning the Canadian treble in 2017 with the MLS Cup, the Supporters' Shield, and the Canadian Championship in the same season. The arrival of Sebastián Giovinco in 2015 was a turning point for the club, transforming it into a permanent title contender. TFC also participated in the CONCACAF Champions League several times. Currently, the club remains a benchmark for Canadian and North American soccer.
