History
Founded in 1944 in the city of Santana, Trem Clube was born linked to the railway community of the region, which explains its nickname. Over the decades, it established itself as one of the forces of football in Amapá, competing in the state championship practically every year. The club usually alternates seasons of prominence with periods of reconstruction, common to clubs from states with a reduced schedule of professional competitions. Its fan base is concentrated mainly in Santana and the metropolitan region of Macapá. In recent years, Trem Clube continued participating in the Amapaense Championship, seeking spots in national access competitions such as Series D, also serving as a player developer for larger clubs in the country.
