History
Founded on October 15, 1914, Treze was born in Campina Grande as one of the pioneers of football in Paraíba. Its nickname, Galo da Borborema (Rooster of Borborema), refers to the Borborema Plateau, a region where the city is located, and became one of the most beloved in northeastern football. Throughout the 20th century, the club established itself as the greatest state champion in Paraíba, engaging in fierce rivalries with Botafogo-PB. Estádio Amigão (Amigão Stadium), with a capacity of more than 20,000 fans, became a stronghold of northeastern football, hosting matches of great national importance. In the 1980s and 1990s, Treze experienced its best phases on the national stage, with regular participation in Series B of the Brazilian Championship and revealing players who went on to play for major clubs in the country. The passionate fan base and the heated atmosphere at Amigão are registered trademarks of the club, which remains a symbol of football in the interior of the Northeast.
