Troyes

AS Troyes, known as ESTAC, is a French club from the Champagne region founded in 1986. It established itself as a regular participant in Ligue 1 since the 2010s.

History

Troyes was founded in 1986 as a result of the merger of two local clubs. During its first two decades it competed in lower divisions of French football. The rise began in the early 2000s, winning the Ligue 2 title in 2013. Since then it has become a regular attendee in the French top division. The club is known for its talent development academy and participation in European competitions.
