History

Founded in 1938 in the city of Santa Bárbara d'Oeste, União Barbarense is a traditional club from the interior of São Paulo that built its reputation mainly in the lower divisions of São Paulo football. The most significant moment in its history occurred in 2003, when the team surprised the state scene by reaching the final of the Paulista Championship, finishing as runner-up against one of the capital's major clubs. Since then, the club remains as a reference in regional football, developing athletes and competing in state and national access competitions.
