União Rondonópolis

Football club from the city of Rondonópolis, in the interior of Mato Grosso, one of the main teams in the state outside the capital Cuiabá.

History

Founded in 1986, União Rondonópolis established itself as one of the major forces in Mato Grosso football outside the capital. Throughout its history, the club competed in several editions of the Mato-Grossense Championship, being prominent in several seasons. The team also participated in national competitions organized by the CBF, representing the interior of the state in the lower divisions of Brazilian football. With a loyal fan base in the Vale do São Lourenço region, União Rondonópolis maintains the tradition of developing athletes and competing regularly in regional competitions.
