Univassouras Artsul Football Club

Club recently founded in the city of Nova Iguaçu, in Rio de Janeiro, with the objective of competing in youth and amateur competitions of Rio de Janeiro football.

History

The Univassouras Artsul Football Club was founded on August 26, 2025, in the city of Nova Iguaçu, in Baixada Fluminense. The club emerged with the objective of competing in the lower divisions of Rio de Janeiro football, beginning its activities in the Copa Rio, in Series B1. Since its creation, the club has sought to establish itself as a formative alternative for young players from the Baixada Fluminense region, an area historically strong in revealing talent for Brazilian football. Despite being recent, Univassouras Artsul has already competed in competitions organized by the Football Federation of the State of Rio de Janeiro, gradually seeking to climb divisions in regional tournaments.
