History

Founded in 2001 in the city of Vitória de Santo Antão, in the interior of Pernambuco, Vitória das Tabocas quickly gained prominence on the state scene. In 2007, the club surprised the Pernambuco football world by winning the Pernambuco Championship title, a historic achievement for an interior team, surpassing giants like Sport, Náutico and Santa Cruz. With the state championship victory, the club secured qualification for the Copa do Brasil and competed in national competitions, taking the name of Pernambuco's Southern Forest region to the national stage. The period following the title consolidated Vitória das Tabocas as one of the emerging forces in the interior of Pernambuco. Currently, the club continues to compete in state championships and is recognized as an example of organization and planning in football in the northeastern interior.
