History

Vitória Sport Clube was founded on August 1st, 1937 in Maceió, Alagoas. The club was born with the objective of representing the Northern region of the state in the state championship. Throughout its decades of existence, it won several titles in the Campeonato Alagoano, establishing itself as one of the main forces in Alagoano football. The Rei Pelé stadium, located in the capital, is the traditional home of Leão da Pajuçara. The team competed in Serie C of the Brazilian Championship and maintains strong participation in state competitions.
