History
Votoraty Football Club was founded on May 12, 2005, in Votorantim (SP), by a group of businessmen. The club was born with a professional project and started competing in the access divisions of São Paulo football, nicknamed the Concrete Tiger. The highest point of the club's trajectory came in 2009, when Votoraty won the Campeonato Paulista da Série A3 and, in the same year, the Copa Paulista de Futebol, a tournament that brings together São Paulo clubs in the second half of the season. The 2009 performance opened doors to the national stage: in 2010, the club made its Copa do Brasil debut and was eliminated in the second phase by Grêmio. Votoraty plays its home games at Estádio Domênico Paolo Mettidieri, in Votorantim, with a capacity of around 10,000 fans. Its colors are orange and black.
