Ypiranga Clube

Ypiranga Clube

Ypiranga Clube is one of the traditional clubs in Amapá football, headquartered in Macapá. It has historically competed in the Amapá State Championship, one of the main state championships in Brazilian football.

History

Founded in 1945, Ypiranga Clube is one of the oldest associations in Amapá football, having witnessed the very organization of football in the state since the times when the territory was not yet considered an autonomous federal unit. Throughout its trajectory, the club competed in several editions of the Amapá State Championship, competing with traditional rivals in the state such as Trem Clube and Independente. Like most Amapá clubs, it plays its home matches at Milton Correia Stadium, also known as Zerao, the main venue for football in the state. Ypiranga remains active in state competitions organized by the Amapá Football Federation, contributing to the training of athletes and the maintenance of local football tradition.
